The new cd "Caught us Doin It", represents the melting pot that was American music in the South before during and after the depression. Slimpickins throws a unique twist on Cajun, Ragtime and Country Blues by highlighting the songs with an energetic swingy fiddle and a rambunctious harmonica

Along with a seemingly old man's deep voice. The fiddle and guitar are rounded out by Slim Nelson on his gas tank bass. The cd also features two originals by Jake Landry, and a instrumental duet with the harmonica and banjo.
